Fifth Wheel Fund

Fundraiser for Fifth Wheel Repairs Continues

God is able to provide the funds to finish the plan He started!

Our most immediate need as of June 2021 is…
The remaining funds to finish repairs currently being made to the donated 2008 fifth wheel. It is in the repair shop in Byron, GA.

This will fill the need for rent-free housing at the Texas/Mexico border each time we drive there for ministry supplies and medical care. Our home in San Luis Potosi is 9 hours south of the border.

Due to water damage, the fifth wheel roof is being replaced, as well as the back cap, some of the rotten floors and walls, some decayed wiring, window seals, and other damage.

Update as of June 24, 2021:
Total repair costs: $20,878
Funds raised so far: $7,000
Funds needed: $13,878

Goal to complete the fundraiser: July 15

More details on the fifth wheel needs:

After pouring over our budget in 2020, and praying a lot, God showed us a way to drastically cut yearly ministry expenses.

NeedA place to stay when we travel to the Texas border, and other states, for supplies and deputation (raising support). (We sold everything we had in the states, before moving to Mexico in 2015.)

*Trips to the U.S. are costly.

  • Airline tickets are upwards of $800 each
  • Free options to spend nights in multiple states are non-existent
  • Hotel stays are too expensive to consider
  • Each trip is stressful wondering where we will stay in various states

Best Solution:
A fifth-wheel RV
to keep in Texas and use when we’re in the U.S.

*Melody Lane Christian Renewal Center (at the Texas/Mexico border) has offered us a place to park a fifth-wheel RV!

  • We already have the Jesus truck for pulling it
  • It will would save ministry funds, short and long term
  • It will provide free housing when we come to the border for:
-Bibles, water filters, and other supplies
-training pastors/church leaders on the TX side of the border
-visiting churches and ministry partners in multiple states
    -our medical needs

God has given us a donated fifth wheel, and a lot to keep it on at the Texas border. We look forward to seeing how He completes this fundraiser to get the repairs completed!
